Handyman (with electrical experience)

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Handyman with electrical repair experience to carry out maintenance, repairs, and installation works. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, performing general repairs, and ensuring equipment and facilities are safe and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of lighting, switches, power points, fans, and basic electrical equipment.

• Carry out general handyman works including plumbing, carpentry, painting, patching, and minor renovation repairs.

• Install and replace electrical fixtures, sockets, light fittings, ceiling fans, and other equipment.

• Diagnose faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

• Ensure all repair works comply with safety regulations and company procedures.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.

• Keep records of maintenance activities and completed jobs.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance or handyman services.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safe work practices.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of maintenance issues.

• Familiarity with plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance is an advantage.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Comfortable performing manual work.

• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is an advantage (if travelling between sites).

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical licence or relevant certifications are an advantage.

• Experience with commercial or residential maintenance.
