- Explain the benefits and uses of various hair care products to clients to support sales
- Perform shampooing, cutting, coloring, and highlighting services to meet client expectations
- Use hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers proficiently to achieve desired hairstyles
- Build and maintain personal relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits
- Manage client bookings efficiently and welcome clients upon arrival
- Maintain salon safety and cleanliness standards consistently
- Stay informed about current hairstyle trends and styling techniques to provide up-to-date services
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Previous experience as a hair stylist
