Position: Hair Stylist
Location: City Hall
Working hours: 9.30am-7.30pm
Salary (commensurate with experience): From $4,200 Monthly Basic Salary + Commission + Variable Bonus + Medical Benefits
Duration: 2 years contract (convertible to permanent)

Main Responsibilities:

Assess clients hair condition, face shape, lifestyle and styling preferences.
Recommend suitable hairstyles, colours, treatments and aftercare.
Perform haircuts, colouring, perms, treatments and scalp-care services.
Maintain the health and integrity of clients hair through appropriate product and treatment recommendations.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Maintain accurate customer and service records.
Deliver high service standards and customer satisfaction.
Support and mentor junior team members where required.
Participate in salon training and skills-development programmes.
Uphold salon service standards and brand presentation.
Participate in approved social-media content and salon photo shoots.
Develop a professional portfolio and signature services.
Contribute ideas to support brand and business growth.

Requirements:

At least three years of professional hairstyling experience.
Strong hands-on experience in haircutting, colouring, perming and treatment services.
Relevant professional hairstyling qualification or certification would be advantageous.
Good consultation, customer-service and communication skills.
Experience with Korean or Japanese hairstyling techniques, salon standards or service concepts would be advantageous.
Comfortable mentoring junior stylists and participating in salon training.
Able to work weekends and public holidays if required by the roster.
