Outpost Climbing is a growing climbing and lifestyle brand in Singapore, creating spaces where people of all ages can climb, learn and connect.
With our expansion into Clementi, we are looking for an Outlet Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our newest outlet. The Clementi outlet will bring together climbing, training, coaching and family-friendly experiences, serving both the climbing community and families in the west.

Job Summary
The Outlet Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management and performance of the Clementi outlet, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer experiences, strong safety standards and effective management of the outlet team.
As part of the opening team, you will also play an important role in setting up the outlet's operational processes, building the service crew team and establishing the culture and standards of a new Outpost location.
This is a hands-on management role. You will lead the team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day running of the gym.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily outlet operations, ensuring the gym operates smoothly, safely and efficiently across front desk, climbing, coaching and customer-facing activities.
Manage and develop the outlet team, including staff deployment, scheduling, training, performance management and maintaining strong service and operational standards.
Deliver an excellent customer experience by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, engaging with customers and resolving feedback or service issues effectively.
Oversee safety and risk management, ensuring staff follow operating procedures, climbing safety standards and emergency protocols, and responding effectively to incidents when required.
Maintain the facility and equipment, ensuring climbing areas, amenities and equipment are clean, safe, functional and properly maintained.
Coordinate classes, programmes and events, working with coaches and other teams to ensure smooth delivery of climbing programmes, kids classes, events and other outlet activities.
Monitor outlet performance, including customer traffic, programme participation, staffing requirements, operational issues and other key indicators, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support sales and business growth by helping drive memberships, programmes, coaching, events and other outlet offerings while identifying opportunities to improve customer retention and engagement.
Manage outlet administration, including cashiering controls, reporting, stock and inventory, incident documentation and other operational records.
Support the launch and growth of the Clementi outlet, including pre-opening setup, staff onboarding, operational testing and continuous improvement after opening.
Work closely with Outpost's management and other outlets to maintain consistent standards while adapting operations to the needs of the Clementi community.
Preferred Competencies & Qualifications
Prior experience in operations, outlet management, customer service, hospitality, sports, fitness or leisure.
Experience leading, supervising or developing a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both adults and children.
Organised and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable taking ownership, solving problems and making day-to-day operational decisions.
Strong service mindset with an interest in building a welcoming community.
Experience in climbing or the climbing industry is advantageous but not essential.
SNCS Level 1 or 2 certification is advantageous.
Experience in coaching, sports programming or working with children is an added advantage.

You should be comfortable switching between leading your team, solving an operational problem, speaking with a parent, helping a new climber, coordinating a class and stepping onto the floor when things get busy.
As the manager of a new outlet, you will have the opportunity to help shape how the Clementi gym operates and grows from day one.
