Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and committed Full-Time Guitar Teacher to deliver personalized guitar instruction across Classical, Acoustic, Electric, Ukulele, and Bass Guitar. You will inspire students of various ages and skill levels, fostering musical proficiency and passion through structured lesson plans and performance preparation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group guitar lessons tailored to Classical, Acoustic, Electric, Ukulele, and Bass Guitar students across beginner to advanced levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Midiworld's curriculum, learning objectives, and examination requirements
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement and engagement
- Prepare students for examinations, recitals, concerts, and performances to showcase their musical development
- Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment that motivates students and supports their musical growth
- Engage actively in school events, concerts, and workshops to contribute to the broader music education community
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in guitar instruction
- Proficiency in Classical, Acoustic, Electric, Ukulele, and/or Bass Guitar applied in instructional settings
- Ability to teach multiple guitar instruments to enhance student learning opportunities
- Relevant music qualifications such as ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool, Diploma, or equivalent
- Effective communication and classroom management skills to facilitate productive learning experiences
- Experience teaching diverse student groups including children and adults
- Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, and passion for advancing music education
