Job Title: GSOC Operator
Basic Salary + Shift Allowance
Key Responsibilities
Incident Monitoring & Response
- Answer routine and emergency calls, monitor alarms and video equipment (including fire, door, and duress alarms), and provide general assistance to employees and visitors.
- Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs.
- Dispatch security officers, Emergency Response Teams, facilities, police, fire, and Emergency Medical Services personnel as required.
- Escalate complaints, incidents, and unusual or suspicious activity to the Shift Supervisor and SOC Manager in a timely manner.
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate and disseminate information using all available technology.
- Act as a liaison between employees and Physical Security.
- Support regional and global headquarters and field teams during crisis and non-crisis incidents.
Operations & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of communications and events.
- Accurately maintain control of all equipment in the SOC.
- Complete Task Work Orders for all facility and security needs reported to security.
- Inform the Shift Supervisor of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment.
- Inform the Shift Supervisor of any deficiencies in communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems and file appropriate corrective work orders.
- Take an active role in SOC-related projects
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in security operations, SOC, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to respond to incidents and operate security systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise incident reports and updates.
- Familiarity with security technology, access control systems, and emergency response protocols.
- Experience in a corporate SOC or similar operational environment.
- Regional expertise relevant to Meta's APAC operations.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- Experience with crisis management, emergency operations, or incident escalation.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CPO, or similar).
