About the Role
We are looking for our first Head of Growth, a data-driven full-stack marketer with a strong product sense. You will be responsible for building and executing the multi-channel strategy that drives developer acquisition, activation, and retention.
This is a foundational role where you will own the entire growth funnel, from top-of-funnel awareness campaigns to in-product activation experiments. You will be scrappy, analytical, and creative, equally comfortable launching a paid ad campaign, negotiating with a top developer KOL, or analyzing a retention cohort.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Funnel: Develop and own an end-to-end growth strategy. Define, instrument, and obsessively track our core acquisition, activation, retention, and referral metrics.
- Performance Marketing: Plan, launch, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across relevant channels (e.g., Google Ads, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, developer-specific platforms).
- Influencer & Content Marketing (KOL): Identify, build relationships with, and manage campaigns with key developer influencers, educators, and technical KOLs to build authentic advocacy.
- Community & Social : Build and nurture our developer community (e.g., on Discord, Reddit, GitHub). Drive conversations, gather product feedback, and turn our users into passionate evangelists.
- Product-Led Growth (PLG): Partner closely with Product and Engineering to identify friction points in the user journey. Design and run A/B tests to improve onboarding, conversion rates, and virality.
- Lifecycle Marketing: Develop and manage lifecycle marketing programs (e.g., email, in-product notifications) to drive user activation and long-term retention.
- Analytics & Reporting: Own the growth analytics stack. Build dashboards and communicate performance, insights, and experiment results to the founding team.
Nice to have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a growth, marketing, or product role, preferably at a high-growth B2C, Prosumer, or developer-focused SaaS company.
- Proven Multi-Channel Expert: Demonstrable experience successfully managing paid acquisition (performance marketing), SEO/content, and community/KOL campaigns.
- Highly Analytical: Deeply data-driven. You live in analytics tools (e.S., Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA), are proficient in SQL, and build your strategies based on data.
- Experimentation Mindset: A strong understanding of A/B testing, funnel optimization, and statistical significance.
- Developer Empathy: You must understand the developer mindset. You know where they spend their time, what they value, and how to speak their language. (Prior experience marketing a technical product is a huge plus).
- Founder's Mentality: A scrappy, self-starting, and proactive problem-solver. You thrive in ambiguity and have a get-it-done attitude.

$250,000 - $300,000 USD
