Job Description

The Impact You'll Be Contributing to Moloco:

  • Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for end-to-end Dynamic Product Ads (DPA) - spanning catalog/postback integration, campaign setup workflow, ML-based product recommendation, retrieval & matching systems and creative UX optimization.
  • Own the product lifecycle from concept to experimentation and launch, ensuring each product delivers measurable customer value.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs to refine strategy, drive performance improvements, and guide data-informed decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver rapid, high-quality product iterations with clear business impact in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Synthesize large-scale data, model outputs, and experimentation insights to shape product strategy.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics to identify new product opportunities and positioning strategies.
  • Resolve day-to-day operational challenges proactively to ensure smooth execution and continuous product improvement.

How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me

  • A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7- 10+ years of experience in Product Management or equivalent roles, with a proven track record of turning ambiguous business and technical requirements into clear, data-driven product decisions.
  • 3+ years of experience in mobile ad tech, search ads, or adjacent domains (e.g., marketplace, e-commerce, or recommendation systems)
  • Experience with recommendation, ranking, or retrieval systems in large-scale consumer or ads platforms
  • Familiarity with modern ML approaches (e.g., embeddings, LLMs, classifiers, or evaluation frameworks) in production systems
  • Demonstrated success in leading 0 1 product strategies and launches
  • An analytical mindset, using data to inform and drive key decisions
  • A solid understanding of go-to-market (GTM) cycles within product management.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align and influence across teams
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, iterative environment - building, testing, and learning quickly to deliver impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience in personalization, recommendation, ranking, or retrieval/matching systems
  • Familiarity with commerce APIs, product feed management, and dynamic creative systems.
  • Experience working on search ads, keywordless matching, or query understanding systems.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or other data analytics tools.

Example Impact Areas

  • Building recommendation or retrieval models that improve ad relevance, CTR, or revenue.
  • Improving query-to-product/ad matching using ML (e.g., embeddings, classifiers, or LLM-based approaches)
  • Integrating with major e-commerce platforms to automate catalog/postback ingestion and campaign setup.
  • Driving UX experimentation to optimize ad unit performance across different inventory environments.
