About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Group Internal Auditor to elevate our internal control and audit capabilities across all corporate functions. This is a critical role designed for a professional from the brokerage or broader financial services sector who possesses a sophisticated understanding of regulatory landscapes, risk management frameworks, and robust control environments.
You will act as a key guardian of our organizational integrity, ensuring that our rapid growth is supported by world-class governance and a proactive risk culture.
Core Responsibilities
- Audit Execution & Ownership: Lead and deliver high-impact internal audits across diverse corporate functions, ensuring comprehensive coverage and technical rigour.
- Control & Governance Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and governance frameworks, ensuring strict alignment with regional financial services regulations.
- Strategic Risk Mitigation: Identify critical control gaps and emerging risks, translating findings into pragmatic, business-aligned recommendations for improvement.
- Reporting & Advisory: Draft authoritative audit reports and present key findings to senior stakeholders, maintaining oversight of all remediation and follow-up actions.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, and Business units to embed a resilient control mindset across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. Holding a CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA is a significant advantage.
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated internal audit or control experience, specifically within a brokerage or financial services environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A deep-seated understanding of the financial industry's regulatory expectations and compliance standards.
- Linguistic Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Chinese is essential; you must be capable of drafting and reviewing complex audit documentation in Chinese to support our APAC operations.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities, with the confidence to navigate sensitive audit discussions.
