Group Financial Controller (International Operations)

The Position:

A Singapore-headquartered international business group with a diversified portfolio across Asia and other key markets is seeking a Group Financial Controller to provide strategic oversight and strengthen governance across its operating businesses.

This is a high-impact Group Finance role supporting senior leadership, with responsibility for financial reporting, performance analysis, and strengthening oversight across multiple international operations. You will contribute to group consolidation, budgeting, and financial modelling, while working closely with both HQ and in-country teams to drive improved visibility and performance.

A key aspect of the role involves enhancing financial controls, standardising processes, and supporting the implementation of robust finance frameworks within operating businesses, particularly in emerging markets. The role offers significant exposure to Group-level decision-making and close interaction with senior leadership across both HQ and operating companies.

Skills & Experience:

You will be a Chartered Accountant with 15 - 20 years of relevant finance experience, ideally with a foundation in Big 4 audit or advisory. You should have a strong background in group reporting, consolidation, and FP&A within a multi-entity, international environment, along with a proven track record of strengthening controls, processes, and governance (particularly within complex or developing operating environments).

Exposure to emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, or the Middle East would be advantageous. A pragmatic, hands-on approach, combined with the ability to engage, influence, and drive outcomes across diverse international teams will be critical to success in this role.
