Job Purpose:
- To provide timely, accurate, critical and relevant financial information and reports to stakeholders for information and decision-making
Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurately consolidated financial & management reports (i.e. monthly flash report & dashboard and quarterly board paper)
- Financial planning, analysis and good problem-solving skills
- Work closely with business units finance team to resolve accounting issues and provide technical support on accounting and management reporting matters
- Liaise with local and group auditors on audit to ensure a smooth group audit process
- Liaise with other professional advisors and stakeholders on matters related to financial & management reports
- Administer the Group's ERP comprising the accounting and consolidation systems
- System, process improvements and ad-hoc projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide support for ad-hoc reporting and assist with projects as assigned by Management
- Manage, develop, motivate and supervise a lean group finance team of accountant and account exe
- Conduct annual review of ABAC and sanctions compliance and enterprise risk management
Qualifications:
- CPA, with a professional qualification recognised by ISCA or internationally recognised accounting body ACCA
Experience:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, of which a minimum of 4-5 years in a supervisory/managerial position in a large company
- Or at least 6 years of experience in Big 4 audit firms
Competency:
- Excellent knowledge of financial statement consolidation and accounting standards (Singapore FRS and IFRS)
- Solid hands-on and review experience in preparing consolidated statutory financial audited financial statements and management reports for a large group
- An excellent team worker with strong analytical, people-management, communication and organisation skills
- Independent, resourceful and energetic
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Familiarity with IBM Cognos Controller and Lawson M3 will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft excel, Word and PowerPoint
