About the Role
Our client is a high-growth, innovation-driven multinational consumer products organisation with a rapidly expanding presence across the APAC region. We are searching for a high calibre Group Finance Manager (APAC) to be based in Singapore. This is a pivotal regional role supporting the Finance Controller in building a robust and scalable finance function across APAC. The position offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and plays a key part in driving operational excellence, process optimisation and financial governance across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
The Group Finance Manager will lead regional financial consolidation and support the statutory audit process, ensuring accuracy and integrity in the Group's financial reporting. The role oversees intercompany accounting, foreign currency translation and month-end close across markets, while driving strong financial operations and governance standards. In addition, the position will mentor and develop finance team members across controllership and reporting activities, strengthening internal controls and ensuring compliance with regional statutory and tax requirements. The Group Finance Manager will also play a key role in ERP enhancements, automation and process optimisation initiatives, partnering the business on new market entry and serving as a trusted advisor on complex accounting and compliance matters across the region.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have more than six years of progressive experience in group finance, consolidation, financial operations and reporting, including exposure to leadership or supervisory responsibilities. A strong understanding of regional tax, statutory reporting and compliance requirements is essential, while prior experience in implementing financial processes, internal controls or ERP systems will be highly regarded. The ideal candidate is driven, intellectually curious and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. They are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to navigate ambiguity, manage shifting priorities and tackle new challenges as the business scales. Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, professionalism and discretion are critical, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
