About the Role
Everbest is seeking a Group Finance Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple markets, ensuring strong control, accuracy, and insight across the group's entities in Singapore, Indonesia, and China.
This is a hands-on yet strategic role ideal for someone who can dive into details when needed but also build structure, governance, and financial visibility for future growth. You'll work closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to strengthen group reporting, process efficiency, and long-term financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Group Financial Management & Consolidation
- Lead monthly and annual group financial consolidation across all entities.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
- Prepare accurate and timely management reports, cashflow forecasts, and financial statements.
2. Business & Strategic Support
- Partner with management to analyze financial performance, identify growth opportunities, and improve cost efficiency.
- Support business expansion, new entity setup, and cross-border financial structuring.
- Provide financial insights to guide key commercial decisions.
3. Internal Control & Governance
- Strengthen internal control systems, policies, and SOPs across all finance functions.
- Oversee risk management, inventory valuation, and intercompany transactions.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor 3 Finance Managers across regional entities.
- Build a high-performance, collaborative finance culture with strong accountability and communication.
5. Process & System Optimization
- Standardize reporting tools and accounting procedures group-wide.
- Evaluate and implement system improvements (ERP/accounting tools) to enhance transparency and efficiency.
Who You Are
- 814 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or controllership (preferably in retail, consumer, or trading sectors).
- Strong technical grounding in group consolidation, IFRS/local GAAP, and cross-border taxation.
- Able to balance detail and strategy comfortable being both hands-on and forward-thinking.
- Leadership experience managing multi-country finance teams.
- Strong communication skills; able to partner closely with business and creative leadership.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia a plus.
- CPA/CA/ACCA qualification preferred.

- Reports To: Managing Director
- Team: 3 Finance Managers across regional entities
- Work Model: Full-time, based in Singapore; occasional travel to regional entities for audit and review
