Our client is a well-established, Singapore-headquartered organisation with a strong regional footprint across multiple international markets. Operating in an essential services sector, the group is recognised for its long-term stability, commitment to sustainability, and continued investment in innovation and people development.
As part of ongoing growth and transformation, the organisation is looking to appoint a seasoned finance professional to strengthen its Group Financial Reporting function. This role offers broad exposure to board-level reporting, group consolidation, and stakeholder management within a listed-company environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead half-year and full-year SGX results announcements
- Prepare and oversee financial disclosures for the Annual Report, coordinating closely with overseas subsidiaries
- Produce monthly and quarterly management reports for senior management and the Board
- Manage group consolidation and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and reporting standards
- Review consolidated journal entries, intercompany transactions, and profit eliminations
- Perform financial analysis of group results to support reporting, results releases, and statutory disclosures
- Review monthly financial submissions from subsidiaries, including balance sheet analysis
- Act as the key liaison with external auditors on audit and accounting matters
- Drive consistency in group accounting policies and support communication on changes in reporting requirements
- Provide guidance and oversight to overseas finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Support system migration and finance transformation initiatives
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as required by management
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA)
- Approximately 1015 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to audit and listed companies
- Strong technical grounding in SFRS(I), SGX Listing Manual, and the Companies Act
- Solid people management and stakeholder communication skills
- Self-driven, resilient, and able to deliver under tight reporting timelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP and/or Oracle consolidation systems is advantageous
