Group Business Controller

About the role
A newly created role, established in response to the company's rapid expansion and global growth. This SGX-listed organization with a broad international footprint is seeking a dynamic Group Business Controller to lead financial strategies, optimize performance, and drive key initiatives across its global transportation business.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Deputy CFO, you will lead the Group's financial decision support, overseeing business partnership, corporate finance (including treasury), and investor relations. Provide accurate, forward-looking financial insights to support performance optimization, cost management, and strategic execution. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business case modelling, ensuring robust financial governance across commercial contracts and investments. Manage capital structure, funding, and liquidity, while ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. Serve as a key representative to external stakeholders-including investors, analysts, and lenders-communicating the company's financial performance, strategy, and outlook. Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 high-performing finance professionals.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with professional accreditation (CPA or equivalent) preferred. We are looking for someone with 15 - 20 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally with Big Four firms, MNCs, or listed companies with global operations. Strong expertise in financial analysis, corporate finance, and treasury management, with hands-on experience in SAP and BPC systems an advantage. A self-motivated, meticulous, and proactive professional with excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to operate independently, influence strategic decisions, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
