GROUP ACCOUNTANT

Group Accountant

Responsibilities

. Manage the monthly financial closing process for the Group, including the review and compilation of reporting packages from all subsidiaries.

. Prepare group consolidation and conduct analytical reviews of consolidated financial statements.

. Assist in the preparation of Board meeting materials and SGX results announcements.

. Support group-level budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities.

. Coordinate the compilation and review of the Group's annual report.

. Liaise with internal and external auditors to resolve audit matters in a timely manner.

. Review tax computations and liaise with tax agents to ensure compliance.

. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, listing requirements, and Group financial policies.

. Undertake ad-hoc assignments and provide support for finance-related projects as required.

Requirements

. Degree in Accountancy or equivalent CPA/CA qualification is an advantage

. Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in group reporting or consolidation

. Prior experience in external audit is preferred, particularly with audit of group accounts

. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

. Hands-on experience in group consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements

. Meticulous, well-organised, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines

. A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
