Group Accountant/Finance Manager

• Managing the corporate month-end accounting process
• Manage the monthly financial closing process for the Group, including the review and compilation of reporting packages from all subsidiaries.
• Assist in the preparation of Board meeting materials and Nasdaq results announcements.
• Support group-level budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities.
• Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to resolve audit matters in a timely manner.
• Review tax computations and liaise with tax agents to ensure compliance.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, listing requirements, and Group financial policies.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments and provide support for finance-related projects as required.
• Supervising junior accounting staff.

Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent CPA/CA qualification is an advantage
• Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in group reporting or consolidation
• Prior experience in external audit is preferred, particularly with audit of group accounts
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Hands-on experience in group consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Meticulous, well-organised, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines
• A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
