Managing the corporate month-end accounting process
Manage the monthly financial closing process for the Group, including the review consolidation account and compilation of reporting packages from all subsidiaries.
Assist in the preparation of Board meeting materials
Cash flow management.
Support group-level budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities.
Managing the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance
Liaise with internal and external auditors to resolve audit matters in a timely manner.
Review tax computations and liaise with tax agents to ensure compliance.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, listing requirements, and Group financial policies.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments and provide support for finance-related projects as required.
Requirement:
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent CPA/CA qualification is an advantage
Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in group reporting and consolidation.
Prior experience in external audit is preferred, particularly with audit of group accounts
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Hands-on experience in group consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements
Meticulous, well-organised, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines
A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
