Job Title: Trainee Senior Designer
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Designer to lead design projects from concept to production across events, exhibitions, campaigns and print media. This role focuses on creative development, graphic design, spatial planning and client-facing design coordination. The Senior Designer will be responsible for delivering high-quality visuals, managing multiple projects and ensuring all design outputs meet brand, print and production standards.
The ideal candidate possesses strong creative vision, technical design expertise and excellent project coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Creative Development
- Involved and responsible for the entire design process to production stage including conceptualising, proposing, executing and generating unique graphic designs for events, campaigns, exhibition booths, advertisements.
- Develop 3D designs, graphic designs, layout plans, perspective drawings, elevation plans and thematic visuals for event spaces and exhibition booths.
- Design event branding, brochures, posters, stage backdrops, exhibition collaterals and content editorial.
- Translate client briefs into creative directions, concepts and specifications.
- Produce artwork for print production and convert files into machine-readable formats (EPS, PDF, TIFF), with understanding of RGB/sRGB/CMYK workflows.
- Ensure design quality and consistency across all print and visual media.
Project Coordination & Client Support
- Work closely with clients to understand needs and requirements.
- Participate in site recces and pitch projects to develop layout plans and design proposals.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal teams, vendors and relevant parties to ensure design specifications are met.
- Support and manage projects and resources to ensure deliverables, deadlines and targets are achieved.
- Provide creative ideas, solutions and problem-solving support throughout project development.
Team & Professional Responsibilities
- Play an active role in supporting the Design Department.
- Maintain high standards of creative output and professionalism.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within a team.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Be flexible with working hours, including weekends when required by project schedules.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Design, Creative Multimedia, Art or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in design, events, exhibitions or creative production.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop & any 3D modelling software (Blender / Sketchup / Autodesk 3Ds Max).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD and MS Office
knowledge will be an advantage. - Experience in print media and large-format design will be an advantage.
- Experience in exhibition and content design.
- Strong creative flair with sharp attention to detail.
- Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resourceful, proactive and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A team player who can also work independently.
- Keen and fast learner.
