Overview
As the Graphic Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Corporate Communications team lead and editorial team to effectively communicate DP Architects brand and identity across a range of print and digital design collateral. Serving as a centralised design resource, you will support the Brand & Content team within the Corporate Communications Department and other stakeholders across the firm to fulfil their design needs.
Candidates with additional experience, particularly in leading and mentoring a design team, may be considered for a more senior position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop marketing materials, including publications, company presentations, data fact sheets, and website content in alignment with brand guidelines
- Maintain and update marketing collateral (e.g., presentation decks, data fact sheets, and website) to showcase latest projects and information
- Produce EDMs and digital design assets, such as social media content, animated graphics, and videos
- Research and present design recommendations and options to stakeholders where required
- Support and art-direct photo shoots and corporate video production
- Assist with internal design needs such as poster, banner, and logo creation
- Work closely with illustrators, photographers and other vendors as needed
- Source and liaise with production houses to coordinate print and production projects
- Organise and maintain design files, ensuring accuracy and proper archiving.
Candidates offered a more senior position will also be responsible for supervising the execution of the above key responsibilities.
Job Requirements
Skills and Competencies
- Strong design sense and ability to understand and effectively communicate brand identity through visual materials and written content
- Ability to work with a range of design medium, including Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, with a commitment to staying updated on emerging design technologies
- Proficiency in basic video production and editing to support multimedia content development
- Basic understanding of programming languages (including HTML and CSS) and web content management systems, such as WordPress
- Basic understanding of simple web design and UI/UX
- Strong in time and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other designers, writers, photographers, web developers, and marketing specialists
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality and accurate work
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- Proficiency in photography is a plus
- Skill competency in Blender and animation design is a plus.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in graphic design, media/web design, or equivalent
- Min 5 years of experience in relevant field
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a design team (for senior role)
- Interest in architecture is a plus.
