About the Role

We are seeking a creative and operationally sharp Design Manager to lead the visual identity of our healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing efforts. You will be both a hands-on designer and a team lead — producing compelling marketing collateral while managing and developing an overseas design team.

Job Description

1. Design & Content Creation

  • Conceptualise and produce marketing collateral including brochures, visual aids, digital assets, packaging inserts, and campaign materials for healthcare and pharmaceutical brands.
  • Ensure all creative output adheres to regulatory and compliance standards applicable to pharmaceutical marketing (e.g. HSA guidelines, Medico-Legal MLR review requirements).
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines across product portfolios.

2. Team Management

  • Lead, brief, and review work from an overseas design team, setting clear quality standards and turnaround expectations.
  • Manage project pipelines, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery across concurrent campaigns.
  • Mentor team members and conduct regular performance reviews.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Medical & Scientific Affairs, and Regulatory teams to translate product messaging into compliant, effective creative concepts.
  • Present creative concepts and revisions to internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of graphic design/content creation experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial work capability.
  • Proficient in Canva & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro).
  • Experience managing remote or offshore creative teams.
  • Ability to edit videos/social media content a plus.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical marketing compliance (MLR/med-legal-regulatory review processes) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to brief clearly across time zones and cultures.
