Our client is a leading statutory board in Singapore's Research & Development ecosystem, driving scientific discovery and innovation to support economic growth and societal impact. They are seeking a Grant & Finance Executive to support end-to-end grant management and finance operations within a dynamic public sector environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career finance professionals to gain exposure to grant administration, budgeting, and core accounting functions in a structured and mission-driven organisation.
Grant Management Support
Create and maintain project and budget records in SAP for approved grants.
Review Fund Requisitions (FRs) and Final Statements of Accounts (FSOAs) to ensure compliance with grant guidelines.
Liaise with grantees and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely disbursement of funds and reimbursement claims.
Track and ensure timely submission of grant audit reports in accordance with established audit frameworks.
Prepare and monitor monthly budget utilisation reports for internal reporting.
Finance & Accounting Support
Process invoices and manage receipt tracking and reconciliations.
Handle Accounts Payable functions, including vendor management and payment processing.
Maintain accurate fixed asset records (e.g., capitalisation, tagging, verification, disposal).
Perform General Ledger duties such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and month/year-end closing activities.
Support internal and external audits, including statutory audits.
Assist in finance-related projects, including digitalisation and process improvement initiatives.
Provide operational support (e.g., system access administration, goods receipt processing, exchange rate updates, reporting).
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred).
0-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Experience with SAP or SAP HANA will be an advantage.
Gain hands-on experience in public sector grant management and finance operations.
Exposure to structured governance and compliance frameworks.
