Our Client is a visible large consumer technology group that has been gaining market share in many of the diverse businesses they run in the region. The successes have also naturally come with a lot of attention especially from local communities and establishments in the markets they operate, where they play a significant role in not just facilitating commerce but also in employment and technology seeding. The effective management of related public affairs therefore plays an important role towards advancing these agenda.

This is an individual contributor role as part of the group corporate team. He/she shall develop, align & execute plans to support business objectives in matters such as market access, regulations, partnerships & sponsorships. As an experienced hire, he/she shall analyse & advise the business impact from public matters; lead relevant campaigns & events; acquire warm relationships with senior personnel at ministries, regulators, agencies, industry associations & other public / civil institutions.

The hire shall come with 8+ years in a related function managing government / public agency relationships. He/she should be able to network effectively & thrive in handling difficult conversations through a combination of charm & intelligence. As the role has a big focus on the Singapore establishment, a Singaporean is preferred. Passion towards tech shall be a screening criteria.
