Government Affairs & Strategic Partnerships Lead
Role Overview
Beyondsoft is seeking a Government Affairs & Strategic Partnerships Lead to support the company's engagement with Singapore's public sector ecosystem and drive strategic partnerships that enable market growth.
This role will serve as a key bridge between government stakeholders, enterprise partners, and the company's regional business units, helping the organisation navigate the policy environment, strengthen institutional relationships, and identify collaboration opportunities that support business expansion in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The position requires a professional who is comfortable operating at the intersection of government engagement, ecosystem development, and market enablement, particularly in facilitating collaboration between Singapore institutions and regional enterprises, including companies from Greater China.
Key Responsibilities
Government Affairs & Policy Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key Singapore government agencies and statutory boards.
- Monitor policy developments and regulatory trends relevant to technology, digital infrastructure, and innovation sectors.
- Represent the company in government dialogues, policy consultations, and industry forums.
- Support leadership in navigating regulatory environments and aligning business initiatives with government priorities.
Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Identify and develop partnerships with enterprises, institutions, and industry associations to strengthen the company's ecosystem presence.
- Build relationships with Chinese enterprises and regional companies exploring expansion into Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Facilitate collaboration initiatives involving government agencies, industry partners, and innovation ecosystems.
- Support cross-border engagement initiatives involving Singapore and Greater China stakeholders.
Market Development & Business Enablement
- Identify market opportunities arising from government initiatives, policy developments, and regional collaboration frameworks.
- Support business teams by leveraging government and ecosystem relationships to enable commercial opportunities.
- Provide strategic insights to leadership on market trends, geopolitical developments, and regulatory shifts affecting regional growth.
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen the company's positioning within Singapore's technology and innovation ecosystem.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 10–15 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem development roles.
- Prior experience working within Singapore government agencies, statutory boards, or closely with public-sector stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders across government, enterprise, and industry networks.
- Strong understanding of Singapore's economic development ecosystem and regional business environment.
