GOLF COURSE LANDSCAPE WORKER

Responsibilities

The employee shall be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course and surrounding landscape areas. Duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Turf and Landscape Maintenance

Carry out routine grass cutting, trimming, and edging of fairways, roughs, greens, and surrounding landscape areas

Perform watering, fertilising, and general turf care to maintain healthy grass conditions

Assist in planting, pruning, and general maintenance of trees, shrubs, and plants

Remove weeds, debris, and waste materials to ensure cleanliness and presentation of the golf course

2. Operation of Machinery and Equipment

Operate and maintain grass mowing machines, including but not limited to ride-on mowers, push mowers, and specialised greens mowers

Use landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and other maintenance tools in a safe and proper manner

Conduct basic daily checks and maintenance of machinery, including cleaning, refueling, and reporting faults or damages

Ensure all equipment is used in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturers instructions

3. Course Preparation and Upkeep

Assist in the daily setup and preparation of the golf course, including tee boxes, greens, and practice areas

Set up and maintain markers, flags, and course accessories as required

Ensure the course is maintained to a high standard of playability and appearance at all times

Requirement

1) Relevant experience preferred

2) 5-day work week (4 weekdays + 1 weekend)
