Roles & Responsibilities
Investment & Project Evaluation
- Identify new terminal/depot project opportunities based on profitability and synergy with ONE's business.
- Develop business projection models to conduct feasibility assessments for new projects.
- Lead negotiations for key agreements, including SPA, SHA, and other commercial service contracts where ONE is involved as a customer.
- Drive internal and external approval processes to obtain management endorsement for new projects.
Budgeting & Shareholder Oversight
- Review and approve annual budgets for each terminal.
- Review and approve material contracts, renewals, or major commercial commitments.
- Provide shareholder perspective and strategic guidance on CAPEX financing, loan refinancing, and capital injections.
- Develop 5-year financial projections where required, including support for impairment testing.
Performance Management & Financial Analysis
- Review and monitor monthly terminal performance, providing feedback and strategic guidance.
- Apply contribution margin models (variable vs. fixed cost breakdown) to enhance simulation accuracy and sensitivity analysis under volume fluctuations.
- Develop targeted improvement plans, including CAPEX initiatives where necessary.
- Establish KPIs for variable unit costs and material fixed costs, and analyze/explain performance gaps.
Requirements

- Ability to think critically, identify risks and opportunities, and propose effective solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify process optimization and technological improvement opportunities.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and accountable work environment.
- Experience in international bidding processes.
- Experience managing joint ventures (JV).
- 3-10 years of experience in a shipping company, preferably with exposure to the financial sector.
