Job Responsibilities:
1,Global Tax Planning and Compliance
Develop and implement tax planning strategies covering Singapore, the United States, Hong Kong, and major offshore jurisdictions (e.g., BVI, Cayman Islands).
Design cross-border equity structures, profit transfer mechanisms, dividend distribution strategies, and tax optimization plans, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and anti-avoidance rules (e.g., BEPS, CRS, FATCA).
Conduct tax cost analysis and risk assessments to ensure overall tax liability is managed legally and compliantly.
2,Corporate Structuring and Fund Flow Design
Design multi-layer holding structures and fund flow pathways to optimize tax efficiency and asset protection.
Coordinate cross-border company registration, dissolution, migration, and restructuring activities.
Liaise with accounting, legal, banking, and trust institutions to ensure practical implementation of structures.
3,Tax Filing and Regulatory Response
Oversee tax filings for group companies in Singapore, the United States, Hong Kong, and offshore jurisdictions.
Handle tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and information exchange matters (e.g., CRS/FATCA).
4,Policy Research and Risk Management
Monitor changes in global tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on company operations and asset arrangements.
Establish tax risk early-warning mechanisms and internal compliance procedures.
5,Training
Guide cross-departmental colleagues on tax compliance and planning techniques.
Provide management with strategic tax advice and actionable project reports.
Qualifications:
1,Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Law, International Trade, or a related field. Holding professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, AICPA, or tax agent is preferred.
2,Minimum 5 years of experience in multinational tax planning or international tax consulting, with proficiency in tax systems of the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, and mainstream offshore jurisdictions. Experience in cross-border investments, international trade, group structure design, or M&A restructuring projects is required.
3,Expertise in international tax rules (transfer pricing, anti-avoidance clauses, double taxation agreements, FATCA/CRS, etc.). Familiar with the registration and maintenance of offshore company structures (BVI, Cayman Islands, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.). Skilled in designing planning solutions for fund flows, profit distribution, and dividend repatriation.
4,Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to independently read and draft legal and tax documents.
Advantageous Qualifications:
1,Previous working experience in a Big Four accounting firm, multinational corporate tax department, international law firm, or trust company.
2,Ability to adapt working approaches across Mainland China, US, Hong Kong, and Singapore contexts, and collaborate effectively with tax advisors from different legal jurisdictions.
