About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, charismatic, and market-facing leader to represent Protect Group across the Online Travel Agency (OTA) ecosystem. This individual will be a public figure and industry voice equally comfortable on stage at conferences, in press interviews, and in strategic boardroom discussions. The role carries the Title Global but a strong focus will be on the Middle East, Asia and Oceania regions to complement the skills of the existing GSL team.

Rather than leading sales directly, this role is about credibility, connection, and influence: youll act as a trusted advisor to our local and regional sales teams, helping them refine strategy, enhance product positioning, and maximise market penetration. You will champion Protects OTA proposition, ensuring we are recognised as a thought leader and trusted partner in the Region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Industry Representation
  • Be the face of Protect Group for the OTA vertical speaking at industry forums, conferences, and media opportunities.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with OTA executives and industry influencers.
  • Act as a credible spokesperson for Protect in press releases and public communications.
  • Strategic Guidance
  • Advise and guide local sales teams on OTA trends, best practices, and competitive positioning.
  • Translate market insights into actionable strategies that optimise product fit and commercial outcomes in each region.
  • Help refine and adapt our OTA offering to align with local market dynamics.
  • Capability Building
  • Train and mentor sales teams, building their understanding of the OTA landscape and strengthening their client engagement.
  • Provide frameworks and tools that enhance partner conversations and improve win rates.
  • Market Influence
  • Connect the dots across Middle East, Asia, Oceania (and beyond) to spot partnership opportunities and amplify Protects visibility.
  • Ensure Protect Group is recognised as a leading, innovative player in OTA conversations across these markets.
  • Performance & Impact
  • Actively participate in key sales meetings to support commercial success.
  • Be directly measured on the increase in revenue generated from the OTA vertical on an annual basis.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations for executive leadership, board discussions, and external stakeholders.

What Were Looking For

  • A confident, extroverted communicator with proven experience representing a brand publicly.
  • Deep understanding of the OTA ecosystem and its commercial drivers in Middle East, Asia, and Oceania.
  • Strong presence and credibility with senior industry stakeholders.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or equipping commercial teams.
  • 10+ years in travel, OTA, distribution, or related technology sectors.
