Job Description

We are partnering with a leading data centre to appoint a Global Director of Sales to lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives for major hyperscale customers with data centre expansion plans across APAC, the US, and EMEA regions.

This role will partner closely with the management team to strengthen and expand relationships with key global customers while positioning the organization as a preferred data centre solutions provider across its operating markets.

As a senior member of the Sales team, the successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and executing broader business growth strategies. The position requires a commercially driven leader with strong relationship management capabilities, deep industry knowledge, and experience managing complex global customer engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for hyperscale customers, aligning solutions across colocation, leasing, energy, and infrastructure offerings with customer growth objectives
  • Lead sales strategies and customer engagement initiatives for global hyperscale and cloud accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders, including executive and C-level decision makers
  • Lead bid strategy development and manage complex RFP responses across colocation and build-to-suit opportunities
  • Identify customer business needs, technical requirements, and expansion plans to drive long-term account growth
  • Collaborate across internal departments to deliver integrated and customer-centric solutions
  • Drive strategic account planning processes, including performance objectives, financial targets, and milestone tracking
  • Continuously assess and validate evolving customer requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Lead solution development efforts by coordinating relevant internal stakeholders and resources
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and support strategic planning initiatives
  • Lead negotiations for complex, high-value commercial agreements and oversee the full contract lifecycle
  • Travel internationally as required to support customer engagement and business objectives
  • Support additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within Sales, Commercial, or Account Management roles
  • Strong experience within hyperscale or wholesale data centre environments
  • Existing relationships with international hyperscale customers are highly preferred
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing large-scale, technically complex commercial deals
  • Strong understanding of the data centre industry, investment trends, and customer deployment strategies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives and C-level leaders
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively across cross-functional and geographically diverse teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven sales track record in strategic enterprise account management
