Our client, a Luxury Retail Brand, is seeking an experienced PR Manager to drive global public relations strategies and strengthen brand visibility across key international markets. Based in Singapore, this role will lead PR initiatives, manage agency partnerships, and serve as the brand's voice in external communications, ensuring consistent positioning and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide PR agencies and global partners to secure coverage in leading local and international publications.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global PR strategy that enhances the brand's luxury image and positioning.
- Direct the creation of press releases, media alerts, and PR pitches while ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Act as the brand's global spokesperson, upholding editorial and brand guidelines across all external communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international media, journalists, influencers, and content creators.
- Manage media requests, photoshoots, and product giftings with agencies to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
- Monitor press coverage, social media mentions, and industry trends to provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries, franchisees, and distributors to ensure alignment of brand communications globally.
- Lead PR crisis management efforts in coordination with agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate PR campaigns and initiatives across multiple markets, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- Maintain and refresh global media databases, PR reports, and reporting standards.
Requirements
- 56 years experience in public relations, communications, or influencer marketing at an international level, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Prior experience with an international PR agency or luxury brand is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong creative, strategic, and organizational abilities.
- Proven experience in press release writing, media pitching, and negotiation with international publications.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 5%).
