Job Summary
This newly established role seeks an experienced professional to lead and build the global procurement process from the ground up
Ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services across our multiple business units (AA, EMEA, APAC), while maintaining cost-effective and compliant purchasing practices.
Job Description:
Ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, packaging, equipment and services
Lead and support SAP system implementation and 3rd party warehouse sourcing activities
Collaborate with vendors to optimize performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery
Preparation and execution of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, including supplier evaluation and selection, to achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes
Lead and support contract negotiation efforts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and procurement objectives
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry standards, including Halal/Supplier Framework Agreement (SFA)/F&B requirements
Work with finance to manage procurement budgets, analyze spend data, and identify opportunities for cost savings
Work with OEM factory to ensure continuous supply of required materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
Assist with indirect material tasks when required
Skills Requirement:
Degree with 5 years of relevant procurement experience, particularly in the food and beverage manufacturing
Experience in process improvement, policy drafting and drive cost saving projects
Strong analytical abilities, negotiation skills, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP

High attention to detail with the ability to manage pressure and tight timelines.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, results-driven environment.
Adequate communication skills (listening, reading, writing) in Chinese, to liaise with HQ counterparts in China
