The Role
We are seeking a Global IT Operations Manager to build and operationalize Multiplier's IT foundation across both the HoldCo and our portfolio companies.
This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role responsible for designing scalable IT systems, access governance, endpoint management, and SaaS lifecycle processes that support a globally distributed organization. You will establish standards and tooling that create consistency, security, and operational efficiency - while remaining pragmatic and flexible to portfolio-specific needs.
You will work closely with IT engineers and the DevOps / Platform Engineering team to ensure alignment between internal IT systems and production infrastructure security standards.
What You'll Do
IT Operations & Foundations
- Design and implement Multiplier's global IT operating framework.
- Establish scalable onboarding and offboarding workflows across entities.
- Define standards for identity management, device management, and internal system governance.
- Create documentation, playbooks, and operational processes for repeatable execution.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Automate access provisioning and operational workflows wherever possible.
- Integrate core business systems to reduce manual work.
- Collaborate with DevOps / Platform teams on infrastructure automation that touches internal systems.
- Continuously refine IT processes as the organization scales.
Identity, Access & Security Controls
- Own identity and access management across internal systems.
- Implement role-based access control and least-privilege standards.
- Partner with Platform Engineering to align identity architecture across internal systems and production environments.
- Collaborate on security reviews, access audits, and compliance initiatives.
- Maintain oversight of IT-related incident response coordination.
Endpoint & Workforce Security
- Build and manage global device lifecycle processes (procurement, provisioning, security baselines, decommissioning).
- Establish standardized endpoint security configurations.
- Coordinate with Engineering on endpoint security requirements and monitoring controls.
- Develop lightweight support workflows and response standards.
Portfolio IT Integration & Governance
- Develop IT baseline standards for newly acquired portfolio firms.
- Build post-acquisition IT integration playbooks in partnership with Engineering and Security stakeholders.
- Identify tooling consolidation opportunities across portfolio companies.
- Provide advisory support to portfolio leadership on IT governance and security best practices.
SaaS & Vendor Management
- Own SaaS stack governance, access reviews, and renewal cycles.
- Partner with Engineering when evaluating tools that impact infrastructure or data security.
- Manage IT-related vendor relationships and cost optimization efforts.
Who You Are
- 6-8+ years of experience in IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, or Systems Management.
- Experience working alongside Engineering or Platform teams in cloud-native environments.
- Strong understanding of identity systems, access governance, and endpoint security.
- Comfortable collaborating on cloud security and compliance initiatives.
- Experience supporting globally distributed teams.
- Comfortable building systems and processes from zero.
- Strong vendor management and budgeting discipline.
- Operationally rigorous but pragmatic.
- Automation-minded and systems-oriented.
- Clear communicator who can bridge IT Operations and Engineering teams.
- Comfortable operating independently with high accountability.
