Job Description

The Client of ours is one of Largest Technology Manufacturer based across USA, Europe and APAC. They are currently expanding their operations in Singapore and is looking for an experienced Global Indirect Procurement Manager. You are responsible for providing the design and implementation of sourcing solutions that ensure continuity of indirect spend supplies. This enables various business groups to operate efficiently, support internal requirements, corporate cost objectives, and allows for cost-effective solutions for indirect spending in global regions. This is an Individual Contributor role.

The role includes overall responsibility for analyzing and executing decisions regarding supplier selection, overall performance, and problem resolution/crisis management. They also have oversight on performance metrics related to Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies and comprehensive category/commodity strategies.
  • Optimize spends through cost-saving initiatives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage global/regional suppliers with Facilities stakeholders to ensure quality, compliance, and performance.
  • Mitigate supply chain risk through proactive planning and contingency strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Establish structured pricing models (fixed fee, hourly, milestone-based) and advise stakeholders on commercial decisions.
  • Facilitate annual business reviews and supplier scorecards.
  • Process purchase requisition and PO confirmation if necessary.
  • Support/responsible for global manufacturing factories, design, and global service centers.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Facilities teams to align procurement goals with business objectives such as new factory setup or factory expansion.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align the sourcing plan.
  • Manage large scale global spend.
  • Conduct Commodity Spend Analysis.
  • Perform Supplier Contract management.
  • Supporting Procure to Pay process including PO issuance and supplier shipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Facility Management, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement or commodity management is preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain management in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of purchasing and electronic manufacturing processes.
  • Proactive problem solver with strong planning orientation.
  • Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with SAP or Ariba.
  • Excellent PC skills including Excel, Word, MS Standard Office.
