Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international Agri-commodities trading firm looking to hire a Global Head of Human Resources to join their team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Lead the HR functions across the group, advising the Group CEO and board on relevant matters to drive business objectives and success as well as supporting local HR initiatives
- Oversee talent management across the organization, including recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and employee development programs, as well as the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits frameworks
- Utilise HR analytics and systems (such as HRIS) to drive decisions supported with data
- Keep policies across the group standardized, ensuring compensation framework and employee relations are compliant to local labour laws
- Role reports to Group Executive Director, working closely with the Board of directors
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of 10 years HR experience in a group-level or senior leadership role, ideally within an agricultural trading environment handling comparable products (e.g., sesame seeds, pulses, cashews, nuts, and oilseeds)
- Demonstrated expertise in HR compliance and employment law, compensation and benefits structuring, and succession planning, with the ability to advise and partner effectively with senior management
- A degree or higher qualification in Human Resources or Business is preferred; an MBA would be a strong advantage
- Proven ability to lead and develop the HR function, fostering diversity, inclusion, and a high-performance culture
- Role is to be located in Singapore
