The Global Customs Business Development Manager is critical to reaching our growth ambition. The purpose of the MZ-D is to actively promote and sell our customs stand-alone services. Specifically, the MZ-D needs to identify high-potential accounts and assure a continuous and healthy pipeline.
How you create impact
- Drive the qualification of all global accounts, produce comprehensive account intelligence and assess potential for customs stand-alone.
- Identify promising prospects from the national account and BU portfolios.
- Develop prospects into actual opportunities (RFQs) where a proposal can be submitted to the clients (solution and pricing).
- The MZ-D is responsible for the client engagement and for presenting Kuehne+Nagel's stand-alone offering and capabilities.
- The MZ-D must have an expert understanding of the products and services being sold by Kuehne+Nagel stand-alone and how the products are delivered to the customer.
- Support Key Account Managers in credit, contract, MSA and SOW reviews in close alignment with the ASP Customs Network (NZ/NZ-Z).
- Lead and manage RFI, RFP and RFQ processes and build and manage a strong sales pipeline. standalone customs across ASP
- Frequently visit, engage, and present at external trade and logistics events to build a broad network of potential prospects and industry peers.
