Overview
We are partnering with a global, innovation-led organization with operations across multiple regions, including Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The company operates in a highly technical, manufacturing-driven environment and serves customers across global markets.
As Communication Manager, you will be the strategic storyteller and guardian of the organization's voice: internally and externally. You will shape how employees, customers, media, and the public perceive the company. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution: from crafting global narratives and building engagement programs to driving visibility for leadership and innovation.
You will lead the full communications lifecycle: from strategy to storytelling to measurement. This role works closely with senior leaders, marketing, commercial teams, HR, and site heads across regions.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Internal Communications Strategy & Delivery
Develop and execute a global internal communication strategy that fosters connection, alignment, and pride across global sites.
Partner with HR and Site Leaders to amplify employee stories, celebrate milestones, and reinforce a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Lead storytelling initiatives highlighting site achievements, sustainability progress, and innovation milestones.
Build an internal content calendar (intranet, newsletters, internal videos, webinars, Teams) to keep employees informed and inspired.
Design and deliver campaigns around company values, safety, customer focus, and sustainability and other topics as needed.
Support the leadership communication cadence (e.g., CEO updates, quarterly all-hands, site visits, internal videos, townhall).
Collaborate with site and functional teams and CEO to align local and global narratives, ensuring tone and message consistency.
Track and measure the effectiveness of global communication initiatives and recommend improvements.
2. External Communications & Brand Visibility
Develop and implement an integrated external communication strategy to strengthen corporate reputation and brand equity.
Create compelling content for press releases, customer success stories, industry thought leadership, and social media channels.
Manage media relations: cultivate relationships with trade and business media; draft and distribute press materials.
Lead crisis communication planning and execution to ensure clear, coordinated responses.
Collaborate with commercial and sustainability teams to highlight innovation, partnerships, and ESG achievements.
Oversee the corporate website, LinkedIn page, and digital channels, ensuring content is current, engaging, and on-brand.
Manage external agencies (PR, creative, digital) to deliver impactful campaigns and measurable results.
Support and coordinate participation in industry events, tradeshows and sponsorships to reinforce visibility and leadership positioning.
3. Strategic Communications Support
Provide communication counsel and messaging support to executives and functional leaders.
Develop key messages, speeches, briefing packs, and presentations for leadership and external events.
Support customer communications (e.g., product announcements, sustainability commitments, joint releases) with a focus on marketing.
Ensure consistent brand narrative and visual identity across all touchpoints.
Drive communications KPIs and reporting: awareness, reach, engagement, and reputation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
10+ years of experience in Corporate or Marketing Communications, ideally in a multinational B2B environment.
Proven ability to lead both internal and external communications strategies.
Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with an ability to translate technical topics into engaging narratives.
Past experience in managing agencies and managing budgets.
Strong relationship builder with experience working across global teams and senior stakeholders.
High comfort level with multi-channel content creation (press, digital, video, internal comms).
Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Prior experience in manufacturing, sustainability, or innovation-driven industries.
Experience in employer branding and employee engagement programs.
Knowledge of design tools or content management systems (e.g., Canva, SharePoint, Photoshop). Knowledge of LinkedIn environment.
Confident, collaborative, and passionate about connecting people through impactful communication.
