Job Description
- The role applies Semiconductor equipment performance management, factory physics foundational knowledge, advanced data analytics, and structured problem solving to identify gaps, analyze root causes, and translate insights into actionable improvement initiatives. You and your team will guide network site teams by leading Equipment-focused continuous improvement projects, aligning business processes, and standardizing methodologies and metrics across the network.
- You will facilitate weekly performance reviews with site stakeholders, steward the development of efficient and effective processes, and establish a clear roadmap for metric standardization and methodology blueprinting. This role also serves as a key driver for high impact analytical projects and best-known method (BKM) deployment aligned with Micron's long-term strategy.
- Design, develop, and maintain Equipment performance metrics, reports, tools, enablers, and methodologies to enable accurate performance measurement and effective improvement of actions.
- Drive network standardization of metrics, measurement scope and definitions, methodologies, business processes, and modeling to ensure consistent adoption across backend manufacturing sites.
- Establish and support cycle time targets aligned with Micron Best in Class objectives, lead or support Equipment performance driven subprograms as a lead role.
- Identify performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities using descriptive, predictive, and statistical analysis techniques, and translate findings into structured improvement projects.
- Lead and manage a portfolio of Equipment improvement initiatives aligned with strategic priorities, working with cross-site and cross-functional teams to ensure execution and results.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and coaching to improve site level capability and maturity in equipment management.
- Partner with Site and Central Operations & Engineering teams (e.g., ATCSP, ATTP, PDE, TSE, NPM, NPO) to gather, analyze, and interpret systemic issues and to provide solutions to the network.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with internal customers by understanding business needs, managing expectations, and delivering consistent value.
- Facilitate best known methods (BKM) sharing and lead to regular Equipment performance review meetings with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and related.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, with solid understanding of statistics to support business and operational decisions
- Working knowledge of SQL or Python to analyze data, automate analysis, and support data-driven solutions.
- Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including AI agents, will be an advantage.
