Job Description

Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day financial operations of assigned business processes and legal entities.
Prepare accurate and timely accounting entries to support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and compliant with Group accounting policies and IFRS.
Support statutory audits and assist in maintaining compliance with internal controls and SOX/ICFR requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and reporting deadlines are met.
Perform other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CA Singapore, CPA Australia) is an advantage.
2-5 years of experience in financial accounting, operational finance, audit, or general ledger accounting, preferably within a multinational, maritime, or related industry.
Good understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and IFRS.
Knowledge of internal controls, SOX/ICFR requirements, and financial compliance practices is an advantage.
Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and meet reporting deadlines.
