The Company

My client is a leader in its industry, keen to hire an independent and motivated Finance talent to oversee the Finance function. Relevant industry exposure from Commodity Trading required.

Requirements

• Degree/ACCA qualified with 10 years of relevant experience in handling the full spectrum of Finance, Accounting and Tax (Transfer Pricing, BEPS) responsibilities
• Experience in overseeing Trade Operations
• Experience in Commodity Trading industry required
• Traits: Hands-on, meticulous, ability to juggle a wider portfolio, agile, accountable, good communication and presentation skills
• Prior Big 4 background and/or exposure to structured finance and private equity can be helpful

Budget: SGD15,000 - 18,000 per month + Bonus

Job Scope

As the Regional Financial Controller, you will be responsible in managing a team and overseeing the group finance function, including group consolidation, financial reporting, financial controls & compliance and supporting structured commodity transactions. You will drive the preparation of consolidated financial reports, oversee cash flow management and intercompany transfers, ensure robust financial controls over trading activities, as well as manage audits, tax and other financial and statutory requirements. You will monitor the P&L of trading desks, manage mark-to-market reporting, ensure compliance with trade finance covenants and prepare dashboards and board packs for executive leadership.

You will proactively drive process streamlining and system enhancement initiatives, and partner senior management very closely to support various improvement and business expansion initiatives.
