Job Description

Liaise with client and develop design concepts and basis of design to set direction of design.
Check engineering deliverables and assure technical integrity of design.
Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standards, Regulations and Codes of Practices.
Carry out various types of geotechnical design and analysis deep excavations, shafts, tunnels, slopes, foundations, etc.
Carry out appropriate design of structural nature where required.
Highlight technical issues and update Construction Department on changes and distribute to vendors, engineers and supervisors.
Plan and execute geotechnical and instrumentation installation and monitoring works.
Site evalution of soil, rock, fault distribution and geological studies on site to determine their engineering properties.
Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
Minimum a Diploma, Degree in Geology or its equivalent.
Preferably with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experiences in construction industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Geotechnical analysis software.
Able to communicate effectively with Client, Consultants, Management and Subcontractors.
