GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

. Oversee the project, planning & ensure work is carried according to schedule

. Liaise with Consultant on technical issue & coordinate site issues with subcontractor

. Work closely with project team & ability to resolve technical issues

. Ensure quality standard and Safety requirements are adhered to

. Review soil sample from shaft excavation

. Assess conditions during excavation to confirm stability of the ground for working condition

. Maintain records for soil sample and calculate pile lengths

. Verification of material requisition and taking off quantities/site measurement

. Evaluate and recommend process changes for improvement to help improve yield, quality and cycle time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

. Effective communication and coordination skills and team work

. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good team player

. Prior experience in Bored Piling works will be an advantage
