Create and update 3D Models for major projects using design software tools
Collaborate with architect, contractors and engineers as a key liaison officer to ensure the team receive accurate and most current on-site data.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress
Conduct on-site survey 3D scanning with GPS location and post processing 3D map
Prepare detailed structural drawings, detect and resolve any structural issues between the new structure with the existing structure before construction phase
Maintain accurate and up-to-date models with reliable subsurface information for engineering design calculations.
Prepare and review technical reports, including structural calculations and design criteria
Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering
Requirements:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience in geotechnical engineering related projects
Proficiency in software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Surfer, Xdisp, or similar tools
Proficiency in LIDAR Scanning and GPS plotting
Thorough understanding of local building codes and international structural design standards
Experience in construction supervision and quality control processes
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex structural issues
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and liaise effectively with clients and contractors
