The Role

As we grow, we're seeking a strategic, solutions-oriented General Manager to oversee and drive excellence in our operations and administration. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the nuances of professional services, and is passionate about building future-ready organizations.

As General Manager, you will lead our Operations and Administration teams, ensuring our internal systems, processes, and people support our broader mission. You will be a trusted partner to the firm's partners, helping translate strategic goals into actionable operations, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with our values of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

. Lead and manage daily administrative and operational functions across business units, including HR, IT and office management.

. Support recruitment, onboarding, professional development and AI initiatives across administrative and support teams.

. Manage vendor relationships and firm resources to ensure optimal service levels and cost-efficiency.

. Collaborate closely with firm leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and business development operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

. Proven experience (5+ years) in a General Manager, Director of Operations, or senior operational role within a law firm, professional services firm, or similarly fast-paced, knowledge-based environment.

. Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams.

. Demonstrated success in building scalable systems, process improvement, and implementing technology solutions.

. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving capabilities.

. Comfortable with change management and fostering innovation.

. High degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
