Serve as the primary bridge between AKC top management and AKSS, ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent communication for effective decision-making.
Deliver high-level management reports, budget briefings, and strategic proposals to AKC executives in Japanese.
Lead process engineering initiatives to strengthen process safety, occupational safety, product quality, and plant reliability.
Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost efficiency, and sustainability, leveraging digital technologies (Industry 4.0, DX).
Oversee troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and long-term risk management to safeguard operational stability and support new product development, grade trials, and technical advancement.
Initiate and manage capital investment projects (CAPEX) from concept to FEED, ensuring alignment with strategic business needs.
Ensure compliance with international management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, ISCC Plus) and regulatory requirements and lead participation in HAZOP, FMEA, and control plan studies to reinforce safety and quality culture.
Champion AKSS's EHSQ programs, embedding sustainability and safety as core management priorities.
Provide mentorship and leadership to technical teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous growth and promote cross-functional collaboration across regions.
Requirements:
Master or PhD Doctor Degree in Engineering field.
More than 5 years working experience in Synthetic Rubber manufacturing plant and at least 5 years of management experience in Chemical company.
Familiarity with IATF 16949 standard, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001, and SS651.
Familiarity with Process Simulation software such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, Distributed Control System (DCS) logic, sequence modification and Digital Transformation (DX) system implementation.
Strong leadership ability and well-developed critical thinking and organizational skills.
Fluent in Business Japanese language (Preferably N1, at least N2 level of JLPT).
