We are working with a global leader in the Smart POS industry. They are looking for a GM with solid background in POS hardware + software. This role will be responsible for our APAC expansion, owning regional strategy, execution, and P&L. This role is focused on translating global objectives into a commercially viable regional plan, driving market entry, scaling operations, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Entry & Strategy: Define and execute company's go-to-market strategy in APAC, establishing a strong regional footprint aligned with global priorities.
- Commercial Growth: Drive revenue generation, partnerships, and client acquisition to achieve profitable growth.
- Execution & Operations: Build and scale regional operations, ensuring effective delivery across sales, product, and service.
- Product Localisation: Adapt our product suite to meet local market needs and maximise product-market fit.
- Leadership & Team Building: Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing regional team to support long-term growth.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with global leadership to align on strategy, performance, and execution priorities.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record of building and scaling businesses in APAC within payments or related sectors
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience driving revenue and profitability
- Hands-on leader with the ability to execute and deliver in new markets
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building and leading teams from the ground up
- Deep understanding of APAC market dynamics, with the ability to navigate complexity and drive results
