Position Overview:As the General Manager (GM), you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company and ensuring the alignment of business objectives with overall corporate strategy. Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's strategic goals and objectives, aligning departmental activities to drive overall business growth and profitability.
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, etc.).
- Financial Oversight: Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Ensure the company meets its financial targets and maintains profitability.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and manage senior leadership and departmental teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and development opportunities for staff.
- Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, business partners, and stakeholders. Represent the company in business meetings, industry events, and public forums.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to support growth objectives. Drive initiatives to expand the customer base and enhance revenue streams.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency, employee productivity, and overall business performance.
- Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks to the business, whether financial, operational, or reputational, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies. Lead internal audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Innovation & Improvement: Continuously assess business processes, technology, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvements.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the Board of Directors and other senior stakeholders on the company's performance, growth strategies, and operational challenges.
Requirements:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in a senior leadership role (e.g., General Manager, Operations Manager, Director, or similar). Experience in [industry or specific sector] is highly desirable.
