General Manager - Restaurant (Marguerite & Hortus, Singapore)

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the restaurants. You will oversee daily operations, lead and inspire both Front of House and Back of House teams, and ensure the delivery of outstanding service standards in line with our brand ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across all departments

• Drive revenue growth while maintaining strict control over costs and profitability

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain strong service culture

• Manage financial performance including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting

• Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy, marketing, and business development initiatives

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders

About you

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in a premium or high-volume restaurant
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving profitability
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills
• Deep understanding of food, beverage, and service standards
• Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Minimum 3 years experience in fine dining
