The General Manager (GM) holds a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and integrating the operations of Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Food Safety, Facility Management, and Finance. The GM ensures strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and compliance across all departments to drive profitability, improve productivity, and uphold company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and market share targets.
. Manage key client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
. Lead the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and market trends.
2. Procurement
. Oversee sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
. Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring quality and reliability.
. Monitor market trends and pricing strategies to reduce procurement costs.
. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
3. Warehouse & Inventory Management
. Ensure accurate and efficient inventory control.
. Implement best practices in warehouse operations for space optimization, safety, and accuracy.
. Ensure stock levels and reduce losses through effective inventory tracking systems.
4. Logistics & Distribution
. Oversee the planning and execution of logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
. Optimize transportation routes and costs while maintaining product quality during transit.
. Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations.
5. Food Safety & Quality Assurance
. Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety standards.
6. Finance & Budgeting
. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all operational areas.
. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-control measures.
. Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial analysis.
7. Leadership & Strategy
. Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams.
. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
. Participate in strategic planning with senior leadership and contribute to organizational growth.
