General Manager (MNC Logistics)

Job Highlights:

• Location: Central Singapore

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm

• Salary: Up to $10,000

• AWS and Variable Bonus (Subject to Performance)

Job Summary

An established logistics organisation is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee both business and corporate operations in Singapore. This role will lead strategic growth initiatives, operational management, and cross-functional team leadership while ensuring business performance and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, logistics industry experience, and a proven track record managing both commercial and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage both Sales and Corporate/Administrative functions in Singapore.

• Develop and execute business growth and sales strategies for logistics services.

• Oversee full P&L responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, and business performance monitoring.

• Drive operational efficiency, process improvement, and digitalisation initiatives.

• Manage and lead multiple departments to achieve business objectives.

• Coordinate closely with regional stakeholders and overseas offices.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and local regulations.

• Support organisational development and continuous business improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of management experience within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.

• Experience managing both commercial and corporate functions.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

• Exposure to operational improvement, IT systems, or digitalisation initiatives will be advantageous.

• Regional management exposure within Southeast Asia is a plus.
