General Manager

Job Description & Requirements

To develop strategies for Research & Development of machine tool products and technologies for CNC Milling, Die Sinker EDM and Wire EDM, including Peripheral Equipment and Automation to grow and enhance revenue and profits. Responsible to support the senior management in Company and R&D by providing strong leadership to achieve company targets and set direction for development of new technologies and products.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide leadership to the department in order to drive strategic change and development.

2. Provide strategies and direction for new product development and new technology research and development.

3. Review and ensure company products and technologies are continuously improving to maintain competitive edge.

4. Provide strategies and is accountable for meeting company business targets with Sales and Production departments

5. Enhance company brand imageand value through development of reliable, attractive, high-speed-high-accuracy products and technologies

6. Plan and implement action plans for regional and global cooperation for new development

7. Provide direction for compliance of employees to job process defined by policy Engineering to achieve and comply to quality and safety standards

8. Identify gaps in technical core competency and implement action plans through continuous learning and new innovation for enhancement

9. Plan and implement systems and process of knowledge bank for engineering information and infrastructure for a learning organization

10. Mentor and guide Managers to develop strong leadership and problem-solving competencies
